Golden Celebration of a Timeless Legacy

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.’s Epsilon Omicron chapter at Bowling Green State University will celebrate our 50thAnniversary the weekend of March 27-29, 2015! The current EO chapter, with the help of EO alumnae, has planned a timeless weekend that you don’t want to miss. 

Saturday, March 28, 2015:

           Community Service Project: Education Building, 115

  • Start the day by upholding our “uncompromising commitment to communities” by joining together for a multigenerational public service project to help domestic violence survivors. 

  • Attire: Paraphernalia

  • 9:00am - 11:00am (Public event)

      Golden Anniversary Gala: Olscamp 101

         Enjoy dinner and dancing with sorors and invited guests. Our featured speaker

         will be National First Vice President and EO’s very own, Beverly Evans Smith.

         Attire: Black-tie/Formal; Sorors are asked to wear black, gold, or red.

         7:00pm - 11:00pm (Public event)

The theme for our 50th Anniversary is “Golden Celebration of a Timeless Legacy” and all throughout the weekend, we will celebrate and reflect EO’s legacy in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, at BGSU and in the Midwest region. Here’s what the sorors have planned for the weekend:

Friday, March 27, 2015:

        "Flashback Friday" Mixer: Grumpy Dave's, 104 S. Main St., Bowling Green, OH 43402

            Reconnect with sorors, meet some new sorors and exchanges EO traditions.            

            Attire: Old school paraphernalia or first Delta shirt.

            7:00pm - 11:00pm  (Sorors only)

  

Sunday, March 29, 2015:

  • Service of Thanksgiving: Prout Chapel

  • Join us at Prout Chapel for an official Rededication Ceremony.

  • Attire: Business Casual

  • 9:30am - 11:00am (Public event)

 

        The  Gifts of Sisterhood Luncheon: 

           Following the Service of Thanksgiving, we will have a brunch to commemorate 50             years of a timeless legacy.

           Attire: Paraphernalia

          2:00pm - 3:30pm (Public event)
